FOODSGIVING 

The Women’s Club of Princeton is once again partnering with community organizations to provide Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. This initiative began several years ago when a student from Princeton Public School started collecting food so that each family could enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with their loved ones. Over the years, the program has changed hands, and a few years ago, the Women’s Club took over. Since then, they have successfully distributed over 50+ meals within the Princeton and Markesan School Districts. The Club also provided food gift cards to families for Easter and hosted a spaghetti dinner in September at no charge to the community. The Club will also serve breakfast to area veterans attending the Veterans Day program at Princeton Public School.

We are reaching out to the community for assistance. You can help the Club by donating food or funds to fill bags of ingredients for Thanksgiving dinners. If you would like to contribute money to the Women’s Club of Princeton, we would greatly appreciate your support. We are also providing families with Piggly Wiggly gift cards to purchase a turkey or ham. Your donation will help ensure every bag includes the ingredients each family needs for dinner.

 If you wish to donate money, please make your check payable to “GFWC Women’s Club of Princeton” and write “Foodsgiving” in the memo. You can mail donations to Princeton Women’s Club, PO Box 442, Princeton, WI 54968. You can also donate by clicking the donation button at the bottom of this page.

 If you would like to donate food, we'd greatly appreciate it. Please message us so we can inform you of our current needs. You can drop off food donations at Calvary Lutheran Church in Princeton on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The following items are needed:

 - Boxed potatoes

- Canned or jarred gravy

- Cranberry sauce

- French fried onions

- Yams

- Mini marshmallows

- Brownie mix

- Cream of mushroom soup

- Boxes of Jell-O

- Canned fruit
